2026 Honorary Celebrity Co-Chairs

Dallas Cowboy Chair
Osa Odighizuwa
Osa Odighizuwa is a standout defensive tackle and team captain for the Dallas Cowboys, known not only for his relentless play on the field but for the unwavering faith that guides his life and leadership. Since entering the league, Osa has become one of the Cowboys’ most respected voices, anchoring the defense with discipline, excellence, and a commitment to honoring God through his work.
Odighizuwa attended David Douglas High School, where he emerged as a dominant force on defense, earning two defensive player of the year awards and PrepStar All-West honors before committing to the University of California, Los Angeles. At UCLA, he developed into one of the conference’s best defensive linemen, ultimately earning first-team All-Pac-12 recognition. Drafted by the Cowboys in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, he wasted no time making an impact, securing a starting role as a rookie and delivering a strong debut season with 21 solo tackles, six tackles for loss, 11 quarterback hits, and two sacks.
Whether he is commanding the line of scrimmage on Sundays or standing with families in his community during the week, Osa is driven by one calling: to glorify God in all he does. His leadership, generosity, and devotion to service have made him not just a force in the NFL, but a beacon of hope far beyond the game. Osa is excited to make the 19th annual Cowboys & Cowboys gala the best ever.
“Faith has led me to the footsteps of God’s will, and for that, I am forever thankful to my Lord and Savior.”
— Osa Odighizuwa

Rodeo Cowboy Chair
Luke Branquinho
Luke Branquinho is a five-time World Champion cowboy and one of the most decorated steer wrestlers in rodeo history. He qualified for 14 NFRs between 2001 and 2015, and won the NFR average in 2008, 2011 and 2014. Branquinho also won a record 25 NFR go-rounds.
Luke was raised on a seven-generation family ranch in Los Alamos, California. He started wrestling steers at 11, with the help of family friend John Black, and because he was so small at the time he learned supreme technical skills. When Luke grew into his 6-foot, 270-pound fighting shape, he had the skills and the size to take on any steer. With flawless footwork, he could stay up over smaller steers, and his stout adult stature also allowed him the option of dropping anchor on bigger, stronger steers. That unstoppable versatility led to an era of bulldogging domination for Branquinho.
In 2023, Luke was inducted into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame. He remains a prominent figure in the rodeo world, serving as a national rodeo host on The Cowboy Channel, Fox, and CBS, mentoring young riders and living the ranch life in Hico, Texas, with his wife, Lindsay and kids.

2026 Entertainment
For nearly two decades, Josh Abbott Band have held strong as one of the most potent and vital forces in Texas country music. Fronted by singer/songwriter/guitarist Josh Abbott, the Lubbock-bred seven-piece have built an ardent following on the strength of their high-octane live show, relentless touring schedule, and seven acclaimed studio albums spotlighting their powerhouse sound and fiercely honest songwriting. Also featuring Edward Villanueva (drums, percussion), David Fralin (keys, mandolin), Jimmy Hartman (bass, harmony vocals), Kris Farrow (electric guitar, harmony vocals), Adam Hill (fiddle), and Cale Richardson (guitar), Josh Abbott Band first formed at Texas Tech University back in the mid-2000s, when Abbott and banjo player Austin Davis got their start playing open-mic nights on campus.
In 2008, Josh Abbott Band released their debut album Scapegoat and offered a triumphant introduction to the distinct mix of elements that makes their music so commanding. Their 2010 sophomore album She’s Like Texas debuted at #28 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.
After winning four prizes at the inaugural Texas Regional Radio Music Awards, the band went on to release Small Town Family Dream, then returned several years later with the widely praised and intensely personal Front Row Seat. From there, the band persisted on their upward trajectory with 2017’s Until My Voice Goes Out and 2020’s The Highway Kind.
The most recent album from Josh Abbott Band, 2024’s Somewhere Down The Road once again reveals their refusal to retread familiar ground. Josh Abbott Band continue to make great strides in cementing their legacy as Texas country legends.
