THE COWBOYS AND COWBOYS SKY RANCH GALA began in 2008 with a heart to impact the lives of children and youth through the ministries of Sky Ranch. Each year, Cowboys from the football field and Cowboys from the rodeo arena join together with individuals, families and businesses to support the ministries of Sky Ranch.

Over the years, Cowboys and Cowboys has been blessed by the leadership of many celebrity Cowboys who have served as Honorary Celebrity Chairs such as: Hall of Famers Roger Staubach, Tony Dorsett, Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin, along with Chad Henningsand Darren Woodson, and World Champion Rodeo Cowboys Joe Beaver, Trevor Brazile and Larry Mahan… to name a few! And a host of celebrity cowboys continue to attend and support the event year after year such as Dallas Cowboys: Hall of Famers Bob Lilly, LeeRoy Jordan,Jay Novacek, Tony Romo, and Charles Haley along with World Champion Rodeo Cowboys: Stran Smith, Roy Cooper, Dave Appleton, Scott Mendes and Bob Logue! In 2016, former Dallas Cowboy and Texas Aggie Dat Nguyen will serve as Honorary Celebrity Chair alongside Event Celebrity Co-Chairs, Walt Garrison and Rope Myers. The evening includes a VIP reception, dinner, and live and silent auctions.

Funds raised at the Cowboys and Cowboys Sky Ranch Gala support the ministry and the Scholarship Gift Program, which provide opportunities for children facing circumstances beyond their control to attend a life-changing week of Summer Camp. Sky Ranch partners with local, North Texas organizations such as New Friends New Life, West Dallas Community School, Interfaith Housing Coalition, Prison Ministry Fellowship, Reconciliation Outreach and H.I.S. Bridgebuilders to scholarship children who are at-risk, underserved or have an incarcerated parent.

The gala continues to grow in popularity year after year, becoming a “must-attend” event for Dallas/Ft. Worth area residents who love Dallas Cowboys, Rodeo Cowboys and desire to make an eternal impact in the lives of children and youth!
