DeMarcus Ware is widely regarded as one of the greatest defensive players in NFL History, and is projected to be a first-ballot NFL Hall of Fame candidate upon his eligibility this year! Born and raised in Auburn, AL, DeMarcus attended Auburn High School and played baseball, basketball and track, but was not a member of the football team until his junior year. The following season, he earned team MVP honors. DeMarcus went on to Troy University, the only school from which he received a scholarship offer. As a senior, he was the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Year. His 27.5 sacks are 2nd in Troy history and his 57 tackles for a loss is a school record. DeMarcus was selected in the 1st round (11th overall) by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2005 NFL Draft and spent nine seasons with the franchise (2005 -2013). He is the Cowboys’ all-time leader in sacks (117) and forced fumbles (32). DeMarcus was signed by the Denver Broncos in 2014 where he helped lead the team to victory in Super Bowl 50. In March, 2017, after 12 illustrious seasons in the NFL, DeMarcus signed a one day contract with the Dallas Cowboys to retire as a Cowboy. Only hall of famers Reggie White and Lawrence Taylor averaged more sacks per game. He twice received the “Butkus Award” – given to the best linebackers in America who also uphold the responsibility of serving others by giving back. He was also the Dallas Cowboys nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award that is presented annually, honoring a player’s volunteer and charity work, as well as his excellence on the field. DeMarcus is actively involved with a multitude of charitable organizations – particularly those dealing with kids, hunger, and homelessness. He has appeared in numerous TV hosting roles, shows, and competitions, most recently - Dancing With the Stars. Ware is a member of the Troy University Sports Hall of Fame, Senior Bowl Hall of Fame, Alabama Sports Hall of Fame and is set to join the Texas Sports Hall of Fame this August. DeMarcus is Co-Owner of 3VOLT Fitness Studio, located in Trophy Club, as well as Owner / Founder of a Fitness App called “Driven to Win.” DeMarcus is not just a football superstar; he is above all, a man of faith and family. He is a resident of Southlake, TX where he resides with his wife, Angela, two children, Marley and DeMarcus Jr. and Great Dane, Dottie. Despite his humble beginnings, DeMarcus got to the top of his game and is now on hand to motivate you to get to the top of yours.

We are thrilled to announce our entertainment for our 15th anniversary of the Cowboys & Cowboys Gala – Aaron Watson!
Aaron Watson's career is perhaps summed up best by Forbes, who says he's "one of country music's biggest DIY success stories." For the past 20 years, Aaron has achieved success on his own terms, hand-building a lauded career through songwriting, relentless touring and more than a dozen self-released albums. His independent Texas spirit and strong work ethic are emblematic of the western lifestyle; virtues which have taken him from humble honky-tonks of Texas to multiple sold-out tours around the world.
In 2019 he released Red Bandana, whose 20 songs were hailed by The Boot as "a pure expression of his traditional country ethos." This album follows Watson’s previous album, Vaquero, whose Top 10 hit "Outta Style" earned a BMI Millionaire award, and The Underdog, the first independent album in the history of country music to top the Billboard Country Albums chart.
With more than a dozen records under his belt, he is exceeding major-label-sized metrics while maintaining his independence, further galvanizing his "Texas country's reigning indie underdog" (Rolling Stone) brand. "There may be no more genuine singer-songwriter at the moment than Watson," says Texas Monthly, pointing to a self-made businessman, chart-topper, and road warrior whose authenticity has made him a country music staple.
